What are the accreditation requirements of JCI?

The joint committee international set many requirements to get accredited, that include:

• The medical institution wishing to obtain the accreditation must apply in the same country where it is located.
• Having a healthcare license is a must for a hospital providing clinical, diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
• Treatment service must be around the clock and throughout the year uninterrupted.
• The applicant hospital must have diverse medical specializations like; Paediatric, ophthalmology, and dentistry.
• The institution must be integrated at both the administrative and organizational level.
• The medical institution must be dedicated to improving healthcare quality and medical services.
• The hospital must fulfill the required services by JCI for accreditation hospitals.
