Ahmed El-Maghraby is a business leader with 18 years of experience in healthcare. He is CEO of AMICO Group, a specialized medical device distribution company with the largest network across the MENA region. It specializes in 8 key segments which include Orthopedics, Neuro Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology, Optical, Technical Service, and General Surgery. 

After graduating university, Ahmed began his tenure with AMICO in the workshop and worked his way to becoming CEO, taking on both product and operational roles along the way. 

Ahmed earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Virginia’s college of Arts and Sciences and his MBA degree (with distinction) from The London Business School. 

Ahmed also oversees the family office and sits on the board of the 3 main operational businesses in the group - AMICO, MAGRABI Hospitals & Centers, and MAGRABi Retail - all leading companies within their respective fields. He also serves on the regional board of Room to Read, a leading global charity. He previously served on the board of YPO Emirates Chapter as well as the Optical Committee in the Jeddah chamber of commerce. 

He is married and father to 3 young children – Adam, Teymour, and Salman. He also enjoys adventure, nature, and endurance.
